Mrs. Shoshana Landau
Australian born and bred, Shoshana began her career as an educator helping to develop a cheder and syllabus for the NSW Board of Jewish Education. She then worked with teens and young families in a number of London communities while gaining experience in the property and construction industries.
Together with her husband Rabbi Dr. Samuel Landau, who also teaches in Midreshet Tehillah, Shoshana led the Jewish community in Kingston, South London for almost five years. She underwent further training under the British Chief Rabbi’s Ma’ayanot program, which combines rigorous training in community education and leadership with a significant focus on women’s issues and the laws of taharat hamishpacha. Although they currently live in Nachlaot, Shoshana and Rabbi Samuel now share the role of Rabbinic team in Barnet, North London, where they hope to move permanently later in 2020.
